LOADING, UNLOADING AND WHARFAGE RATES

Unless otherwise provided herein, the rates stated in SECTION-V herein are in U.S. dollars per net ton of 2,000 pounds or per 2,000 pounds or 40 cubic feet whichever produces greater revenue expressed with the symbol “W/M”; and per metric ton of 2204.6 pounds, and per metric ton or cubic meter. Due to differences in rounding between net tons, cubic feet and metric tons, and cubic meters, charges billed by the Port Authority will be calculated and charged on the basis of net tons or 40 cu. ft.

A minimum wharfage charge of $35.00 is charged on all cargo.

As provided in Item 245 herein loading and unloading of rail cars and trucks is performed by firms licensed to work at the Port of Corpus Christi as shown below. These firms should be contacted for rate and service quotations.
